Alcohol-Related Content
SipReward is a platform that may include promotions for alcohol products from licensed Texas retailers. Alcohol-related features and promotions are restricted to users of legal drinking age (21+ in the United States). SipReward applies compliance controls to alcohol promotions, including restrictions on alcohol coupons, rebates, and free-alcohol rewards in Texas. These controls are platform safeguards — they do not replace the legal responsibilities of stores or customers.
Customer Responsibility
Customers must be of legal drinking age to interact with alcohol-related promotions. The age confirmation screen on SipReward is a platform control — it is not proof of legal age and does not substitute for ID verification at the point of sale. Customers must always be prepared to show valid ID when purchasing alcohol at a participating store. Customers should never share accounts, attempt to circumvent age restrictions, or misuse the platform to obtain alcohol improperly.
Store Responsibility
Participating stores are responsible for verifying the age of any customer purchasing alcohol, regardless of whether a promotion or loyalty reward is involved. Stores must hold all required licenses and comply with all applicable Texas and federal alcohol laws. SipReward's compliance checks do not relieve stores of their legal obligations. Stores must not use SipReward to promote alcohol in ways that violate applicable regulations, including marketing to minors or offering prohibited promotions.
Prohibited Misuse
SipReward prohibits the use of the platform to facilitate underage drinking, over-service, drunk driving, or any violation of alcohol laws. Fraud, points farming, impersonation, or any attempt to manipulate rewards or promotions may result in account suspension and forfeiture of rewards. Stores that violate alcohol promotion rules may have their campaigns blocked or removed and their store account suspended.
Platform Use
SipReward is provided as a loyalty and advertising platform. It is not a substitute for legal compliance, ID verification, or responsible service of alcohol. SipReward does not guarantee that any promotion is legally compliant in every circumstance — stores and customers are responsible for their own compliance with applicable laws. The "21+" indicator on SipReward is a reminder to drink responsibly and is not a verification of any user's age.
